My Story
I've always believed in the powerful connection between horses and people. When I learned about Palomino Hope and saw the positive impact its programs were having on children, I began imagining how that same connection could help others in our community. I joined Palomino Hope a year ago with a vision of expanding opportunities for veterans, their families, and women who could benefit from the peaceful, supportive environment horses help create.
As an EAGALA-certified Equine Specialist and certified Life Coach, I've had the opportunity to work alongside mental health professionals in equine-assisted services for veterans. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of connection, understanding, and creating spaces where people feel supported as they navigate life's challenges.
I'm especially passionate about helping Palomino Hope expand its wellness programs and develop new opportunities for our community. One of my biggest dreams is to see an indoor arena become a reality so we can continue offering meaningful experiences throughout Michigan's long winters. I also enjoy contributing to equine programs at Reining Hope Ranch and Hopewell Ranch.
When I'm not planning retreats or dreaming up new ways to help others, I treasure the quiet moments I spend with my own horse. And if my favorite horse could talk? I hope it would describe me as kind, supportive, and someone who truly cares about the well-being of others.
My hope is that Palomino Hope continues to grow into a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can find connection, encouragement, and a renewed sense of hope.
