My Story
For Teaira, horses have always been a source of peace, purpose, and unconditional love. She joined Palomino Hope four years ago with a simple goal: to make a difference in her community and help others experience the connection she has found with horses.
As an equine specialist, mentor advocate, and conflict resolution specialist, Teaira brings leadership, compassion, and plenty of horse sense to the program. Nothing makes her happier than watching a child overcome a fear, accomplish something new, or discover confidence they didn't know they had.
When she's not at Palomino Hope, Teaira can usually be found riding her Standardbred, raising and training Thoroughbreds, or enjoying a good book or movie. Her dream is to see Palomino Hope reach even more people and communities.
If Rocky could talk? He'd probably complain that Teaira doesn't tell him he's gorgeous enough—even though she tells him about a million times a day!
